
Chinese Romanization(Latinization) is the use of the Latin alphabet to write the Chinese language. Mandarin Romanization is the Romanization systems have several uses, including: a teaching aid for Chinese learners, both foreigners and Chinese children; simplifing Chinese dictionary organization; and text input in modern computers and other electronic devices.
Historically three systems have been the most well-known in the west, these being Hanyu Pinyin, Wade-Giles and Yale. These are all romanizations of Mandarin Chinese. There are other systems that can be used for other Chinese languages and dialects but
