1.Research Proposal文件的作用
Research Proposal文件（以下简称RP文件）主要用于和签证官面谈阶段，便于签证官了解你赴美研究学习的大致计划，从官方提供的模板上我们可以看出签证官主要从这份文件上了解你的学术背景、赴美学什么、跟谁学、钱从何来等问题。其实这也就是签证官想了解你的相关信息，是在面谈时可能会问到你的问题。这样写成文件后，他/她就无需再一一开口问，直接看表即可，简化了问话环节，提升了面试效率。
也正因为如此，我们在写这份文件时一定要从目的出发，从签证官的角度去思考这份文件的撰写，千万不要照搬给导师看的RP，并不是写得越详细越好哦。
2.Research Proposal文件撰写要点
我们从下面几方面来说说RP文件的撰写要点。
2.1文件篇幅
建议撰写1页A4纸即可，最多不要超过2页，简明扼要，标注要点。
看到这可能有些同学会担心这么少行不行，其实大家换位思考下，签证官每天要面试很多人，每位申请者的面试时间也非常有限，了解下签证官常提的问题就知道大都是很基础很简单的，所以我们准备的文件也一定不要长篇大论，简明清晰即可。简要介绍我们的背景、目的等信息，适当标注重点，方便签证官迅速找到想了解的信息即可。
2.2文件格式
可以使用大使馆官方提供的文件模板，也可以自行设定格式，这点无统一要求，只要确保内容中包含签证官所需的信息即可，主要包括以下几方面。
2.2.1自我介绍：
简单介绍自己的教育背景、从事的科研方向等，也可以加上英语水平、考试成绩等，以证明自己的能力和语言水平。
2.2.2为什么选择赴美深造、选择该校、该专业：
暗含考察移民倾向，所以千万不要对比中美高下，或者说有亲戚朋友等在美国等。建议从教育资源、学术发展等方面阐述理由，比如该校的专业世界领先，学术声誉好等等，更可以提一下该学习经历将有助于提升自己毕业回国后的就业竞争力。专业部分，注意敏感性，一定往民用的、适合普罗大众日常生活的方向描述，比如涉及军工的。
2.2.3经济能力：
简单介绍下经济来源，让面试官知道你有足够的经济来源，比如父母的工作、年收入、或家庭资产等情况，或者学校奖学金计划，完全可以负担你在美国的开销，不要说自己需要打工或者贷款。
2.2.4在美期间的学习计划：
可以参考学校、专业的相关信息，按时间顺序写下每年的大致安排，也可以罗列主要的课程名称，清晰简单即可。
2.2.5归国计划：
虽然美国也希望留住优异的人才，但目前这个阶段，建议还是坚定写上毕业就回国，避免移民倾向。如果是独生子女，可以从亲情角度出发，要回国陪伴父母，也可以从就业前景、职业目标等方面写写回国发展的决心和理由。

2.3写作规范
RP文件是一份正式文本，所以一方面要确保信息真实，另一方面要注意遣词造句。不要随意使用网络语言或地域化的俚语，但也无需使用特别高级或生僻的词汇以及长难句，用日常普通的书面英语，简单的句式，常用的单词即可，确保简单明了。尤其涉及到学术背景、专业介绍等，如果涉及一些生僻甚至敏感的词汇，建议使用别的词句进行替代，不要徒增面试官的疑惑或警惕心，如果他/她看不明白，会主动问你，可如果你因为紧张其他原因又说不清楚就适得其反，增加了被拒的可能性。
有些同学可能对于自己的英语写作不自信，考虑找代笔。靠谱的专业代笔，其优势在于相关写作经验可能相对丰富，有一定写作水平，可以避免出现错误，但或多或少需要一定费用。其实通过前文介绍，大家应该也能看出这份文件对于写作水平的要求并不高，确保真实清晰明了即可，受过高等教育的大家完全可以应付。即使找了代笔，也千万不能大意，一定一定自己要逐字逐句读过，完全了解全文内容，方便面试中的应对，所以建议想找代笔的同学，可以自己写中文初稿，让代笔写英文版并润色即可。

2) Why returning to China：The semiconductor industry in China has been developing rapidly.According to the investigation carried by China Semiconductor Industry Association(CSIA) in the last decade China's semiconductor compound growth rate has reached 19.2%，much higher than the world average(62%) .It is predicable that more professional and skilled IC designer and system architect is needed for this expanding market.My graduate study on circuit design and programming will make me well-qualified for these positions.In addition my parents live in China， I am the only child in my family， so after graduating.I decide to comeback to stay with them.
